Azophi Brand
Where did the name Azophi originate from?
Named after the 10th-century astronomer Al Sufi, known in the West as Azophi, whose celestial charts guided navigators and desert dwellers through the night skies, our name honors the timeless connection between astronomy, navigation, art and scent

How long does the candle last?
Our candle has a burn time of approximately 60 hours, depending on usage and care. To get the most out of your candle, we recommend trimming the wick before each use and allowing it to burn long enough for the wax to melt evenly across the surface.
Why doesn't my candle burn evenly?
If your candle isn't burning evenly, it may be tunneling—when the wax near the edges doesn't melt. This often happens if the candle isn’t burned long enough at first. Let it burn for 2–3 hours so the whole surface melts, and always keep the wick centered and trimmed to about 5mm.
How can i re-use my Azophi candle?
Once your Azophi candle has burned through, the vessel is yours to repurpose. Each ceramic vessel is hand-finished—designed to be lasting, reusable, and beautiful in any space.
To clean, gently warm any remaining wax with hot water and carefully remove the residue. Wipe the interior clean, taking care to avoid contact with the exterior to preserve its finish.
The vessel can then be reused—as a vase, a storage container, or a quiet object of beauty. We’re also developing candle refills, so your Azophi vessel can continue its journey with you.
Azophi Care
To get the most out of your candle and preserve the beauty of your vessel, please follow the care instructions below:
- Burn for 2–3 hours at a time to allow the wax to melt evenly and avoid tunneling
- Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each use to ensure a clean flame and prevent smoke
- Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep out of reach of children, pets, and flammable materials
- Place your candle on a stable, heat-safe surface. The ceramic lid may be used as a base to protect furniture
- Avoid draughts, as they can lead to uneven burning
- Do not burn the candle all the way down. Extinguish it when about 1cm of wax remains
- Snuff the flame rather than blowing it out to reduce smoke and preserve the scent and vessel
- When not in use, cover with the lid to protect the wax from dust. Store in a cool, dry place
- To clean the vessel for reuse, gently warm any remaining wax with hot water and carefully remove it. Wipe the interior clean, avoiding the exterior to protect its finish
